Authenticity Guarantee
Every coin sold on romanbronze.com is guaranteed to be a genuine ancient artefact. If any coin we sell is determined to be inauthentic by a recognised numismatic authority, we will provide a full refund including return shipping costs. This guarantee has no time limit.
14-Day Return Policy
You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return, in line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item(s) must be in the same condition as received.
- Cleaned coins must not have been further cleaned, polished, or altered.
- Contact us at contact@romanbronze.com to initiate a return before sending anything back.
Uncleaned Coins
Uncleaned coins are sold as-is. Due to their nature, results after cleaning vary widely and this is part of the collecting experience. We do not offer refunds based on subjective dissatisfaction with the final appearance or identifiability of uncleaned coins. However, if you believe a coin is not a genuine ancient artefact, our authenticity guarantee applies.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged in transit or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photograph. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
How Refunds Work
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method (the card used at checkout via Stripe).
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), refunds are typically processed within 5–7 working days.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or the authenticity guarantee.

How to Request a Return
Email contact@romanbronze.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions and a shipping address. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
